Concrete wall - neutral background, or maybe a work of art?
One of the places that are most often and most often chosen when introducing concrete into the interior are our walls. Their large surface means that the finishing method chosen by us has a huge impact on the reception of the entire interior.
At the beginning of visualizing our surroundings, even in the imagination, it is worth considering whether we want the walls to be a neutral background for other elements, or whether we dream that they would be the decoration of the entire room, eye-catching like a modern work of art.
Choosing the first option, however, do not condemn ourselves to boredom. A neutral background does not mean that nobody will notice it. Even the simplest concrete slabs form a beautiful texture on the wall.
Each slab is unique and has its own unique character. In addition, the variety of available colors ranging from the most popular gray, to white and black, as well as the way the concrete surface is finished - smooth or more porous slabs - means that boredom is out of the question. The size of the panels is also important, the smaller the panel, the more joints that form a delicate pattern on the wall.
In recent years, there has been a fashion for accessories in brass and copper shades, and this trend is developing more and more.
Polish artist Jerzy Dobrzański, fully aware of this, designed concrete slabs covered with real copper and brass, thus raising the trend to a new level. Thanks to the use of panels with such beautiful colors, the interiors acquire an exclusive and modern style.
When designing a wall of concrete slabs, and with so many options to choose from, we can decide ourselves whether we will choose a uniform color or whether we will introduce several slabs of different colors or of a different size into the leading color. Their layout depends only on our creativity, so we have the opportunity to create a modern and personalized work of art.
