Yes, we offer a service of cutting slats to size. The standard length of slats is 275 cm, but if you need a different height, you can order a cutting service. The cost of this service is 50 PLN gross regardless of the number of elements. Please note that we do not send waste after cutting.

The standard length of the slats is 275 cm. This is a universal length available for all types of slats, including slim slats, free-standing slats and panels with slats on felt or MDF board.

The recommended spacing between the slats depends on the aesthetic effect and functionality you want to achieve:

    • Standard slats: 3 cm spacing is most often used, creating a clear, spatial effect.
    • Slim slats: usually installed with 2 cm spacing for a more uniform and subtle look.
    • Freestanding slats: larger spacing is recommended here, usually around 5 cm, to maintain a lightweight structure.

    Good to know:

The spacing between the slats affects not only the appearance, but also the ease of cleaning and the passage of light and air, which can be important in some arrangements.

The slats are carefully secured for transport. This is how the shipment works:

    • Single packages: The slats are packed in cardboard boxes with a maximum weight of around 30 kg per package, which makes them easier to transport and handle.
    • Larger orders: If you order a larger quantity of slats, they are shipped on a pallet, which further increases their safety during transport.

Each package is appropriately secured so that the slats arrive in perfect condition.

The slats are carefully covered on three sides with a dedicated veneer, which ensures durability and aesthetic appearance. Additionally:

    • The sides of the slats are protected with veneer to increase their durability and aesthetics.
    • The veneer overlaps the back of the slat by about 0.5 cm, which prevents the veneer from coming loose over time.

Thanks to this finish, the slats are ready for installation and maintain an attractive appearance for a long time.

Yes, we offer samples of almost every product, including slats. You can order a sample directly on our website. Just go to the product page or go to the sample section: click here.

The sample will allow you to assess the quality and color of the slats before placing your order.

The order processing time depends on the specific product. The standard processing time is 5 to 21 business days, depending on the slat model and additional services, such as cutting to size.

    It's worth knowing:

If you order slats with a cutting service, the processing time may be extended by an additional 2-3 business days.

Our slats are made of high-quality MDF, which is carefully covered on three sides with a dedicated veneer. You can also choose a veneer made of natural oak veneer, which gives the slats a more elegant and natural look.

Currently, the felt used in our slats is only available in black. This is a standard color that goes well with most arrangements and materials.

Panels with standard slats are manufactured on two types of bases:

    • 6 mm thick veneered MDF board - for standard applications.
    • 19 mm thick black dyed MDF board - this version also has a hidden mounting system. Hidden mounting holes are located under the outer slats, which allows for quick assembly without the need for gluing.

Here are the steps to install the slats correctly:

    1. Prepare the surface:

    • Make sure the wall is smooth and clean. If you are using slim or freestanding slats, it is a good idea to paint the wall a matching colour, as it will be visible between the slats.

    2. Mark the mounting locations:

    • Start in the corners and mark the places on the wall where you want to mount the slats, maintaining the appropriate gaps (usually 2-5 cm).

    3. Application of mounting glue:

    • For slats mounted on 6 mm MDF board or felt, use appropriate mounting glue (e.g. Tytan, Mamut). Evenly spread the glue on the back of the slat or panel.

    4. Mounting the slats:

    • Place the slats against the wall, pressing gently according to the markings. Check that the gaps between the slats are equal.

    5. Checking the installation:

    • After installation, make sure that the slats are well attached and maintain an aesthetic arrangement.

For panels with slats on MDF board (19 mm):

    • These panels have a hidden mounting system under the outer slats, which makes installation easier and does not require gluing.

The joints of felt or MDF panels are minimally visible. The side edges of the panels are carefully finished and glued, which ensures an aesthetic appearance after their installation. After connecting the panels together, the joints are practically invisible, and the whole creates a coherent and uniform surface.

When cutting slats or slatted panels, it is best to use tools that are suitable for the material they are made of, such as:

    • Circular saw: With a suitable blade for cutting wood (a blade with at least 60 teeth is recommended). Ensures precise and smooth cuts, especially with MDF panels.
    • Plunge saw with guide: Ideal tool for precise longitudinal cuts, especially when you want a precise fit.
    • Fine-toothed hand saw: Can be used to cut smaller slats to avoid splitting the edges.
    • Sabre saw: Useful in hard-to-reach places or when you need an unusual cut.

    Good to know:

    • When cutting, it is worth protecting the edges of the slats to avoid splinters.
    • After cutting MDF, the edges may be raw, so it is worth protecting them, e.g. with a dedicated veneer, if they are visible.

No, MDF slats are not recommended for use in bathrooms, as they can absorb moisture from the environment, which can lead to deformation or damage. MDF slats are not waterproof, and high humidity in the bathroom can negatively affect their durability and aesthetics.

No, MDF slats are not intended for outdoor use. MDF is not resistant to moisture and changing weather conditions, which can lead to deformation, swelling or damage. MDF slats are ideal for indoor use, but will not work in open, humid spaces.

The veneer slats we offer as standard are naturally oiled, which highlights the natural look and structure of the wood. However, if you want to change the color yourself, you can order slats in a raw version, without oiling. This allows you to dye the veneer in any color according to your preferences.

The delivery costs of the slats depend on the number of products ordered and their weight. The standard delivery cost starts from 49.99 PLN and the final price will be calculated and displayed in the basket when placing the order.

For slat installation, we recommend using assembly glue, which will provide a strong and durable connection to the surface. Proven and recommended glues are:

    • Tytan - universal assembly glue.
    • Mamut - very strong glue, ideal for more demanding surfaces.

    Worth knowing:

The glue should be applied evenly to the back of the slats before installation. It is important to match the glue to the type of surface on which you will be installing the slats.

We do not recommend hanging your TV directly on the slats, as the slats are decorative and not designed to withstand heavy loads.

    What you can do:

To securely mount your TV, we suggest attaching the mount to the wall behind the slats, then mounting the slats around the mount to hide the mount but not to overload the slats.

Yes, it is possible, but we recommend that the hanger is attached directly to the wall and not just to the slats, because the slats are decorative and not designed to bear loads. You can attach the hanger through the slats, but it is important that the mounting screws reach the wall behind the slats.

    Good to know:

The slats on the MDF board can be used as an aesthetic background, but for safety, the hanger should be firmly attached to the wall.

The surface on which the slats will be installed should be properly prepared, depending on the type of slats:

    1. Slim and standard (single) slats:

    • The wall on which they will be installed should be smooth, clean and dry, as it will be the background for the slats.
    • We recommend leveling out any unevenness and painting the wall in a colour that will match the slats, as the spaces between them will be visible.

    2. Panels with slats on MDF board (6 mm and 19 mm) or felt:

    • In the case of these panels, the wall does not have to be perfectly even, because the panels cover the entire surface and mask any imperfections of the wall.

In both cases, it is important for the wall to be stable, because the slats are attached with assembly glue, which requires a suitable base.

Currently, the MDF board, which is the base in the slatted panels, is available in the following colors:

    • Black – in the mass-dyed version (19 mm thick) and in a veneered MDF board (6 mm thick).

Yes, slats can also be used on the ceiling, which can add elegance and unique character to the interior. To ensure stability, in addition to mounting glue, it is mandatory to use mechanical fastening, e.g. with expansion bolts, especially in the case of heavier slats or larger surfaces.

Panels with slats on felt and MDF board can improve room acoustics, but they are not typical soundproofing products. They can reduce echo and absorb some sounds, but they will not fully isolate noise from your neighbor.

    Worth knowing:

If you care about full acoustic insulation, it is worth considering dedicated soundproofing materials or using slats in combination with such materials.

Yes, it is possible to buy veneer for the slats. This is useful when you want to finish the edges after cutting the slats. The veneer can be made to measure, and its cost is PLN 25 per linear meter.

No, 251 cm is the maximum length of one openwork wall. To obtain longer walls, you can connect two or more elements together. We can also prepare components for wider arrangements, but remember that the horizontal beams will then be connected.

No, standard MDF slats do not have a fire resistance certificate and are not intended for places where fire resistance is required. These slats are decorative and used in interiors where there is no direct exposure to high temperatures or open flames.

Yes, it is possible to order slats in a raw version, without veneer. This will allow you to finish them yourself according to your needs, e.g. by painting or varnishing in any color.

Yes, it is possible to order slats with raw veneer, without oiling. This version allows you to dye and finish the veneer yourself according to your own preferences, e.g. oiling, varnishing or staining in any color.

The lattice wall is decorative and not designed to carry heavy loads. It is strong enough to be aesthetic and divide space, but should not be used as a structural element, such as a safety barrier.

The MDF openwork wall can be used as a decorative element, but is not suitable as a full-fledged safety barrier or balustrade on stairs. Due to its construction, it does not carry large loads that may be necessary in the case of a barrier whose main function is to ensure safety.

To precisely cut the mini-slat panels lengthwise, it is best to use a plunge saw with a guide. This tool ensures a straight and accurate cut. You should choose the right wood cutting disc, preferably with at least 60 teeth to obtain a smooth edge.

    Good to know:

After cutting, the MDF edge may be raw, so it is recommended to finish it, e.g. with veneer, to obtain an aesthetic end result.

Mini slats are designed to be joined right next to each other, which creates a consistent, uniform surface. Each element is fitted, minimising the visibility of vertical joints.

    How to do it:

    1. Glue assembly: Apply assembly glue evenly to the back of each slat.
    2. Joining the elements: Glue the slats next to each other, making sure they are well aligned and firmly attached to the substrate.
    3. Pressure: Press the slats so that the glue firmly bonds them to the surface and minimises the visibility of the joints.
